โฆ Synopsis
The results of a series of measurements of the admittance and the noise of OA3 voltage regulator tubes over a frequency range of 1 cycle/sec --30 mc/sec are presented. It is shown that the noise resistance of the tube is relatively constant below 1 mc/sec and that the equivalent saturated diode current of the tube is relatively constant above 1 mc/sec. The measurements indicate that both the admittance and the noise at low frequencies are influenced by the same current multiplication process. A tentative theory of the admittance and the noise is presented; it can explain most of the experimental data.
