## Abstract The phenotypic and genotypic characterization of sixtyβtwo rhizobial isolates obtained from nodules of __Arachis hypogaea__ in northβwestern Morocco was performed. Their physiological and biochemical properties revealed a great deal of diversity among them. Isolates were classified into
