The percentage of amyl nitrite in the contents of an amyl nitrite ampul is determined from the ratio of the area under the -CHz-ON0 line to the area under the --CHI lines in the NMR spectrum of the sample. The relative standard deviation of the method is 1.47& and the accuracy is better than 2 z .
