Gas-phase 200 MHz 'H NMR spectra of nineteen primary and nine secondary aliphatic amines were obtained at total densities below 0.15 amagat at 148.6 OC. Theoretical predictions of 'H chemical shifts of ammonia and methylamine are compared with the gas-phase experimental values. The amino proton chem

## Abstract The ^1^H chemical shifts of 124 compounds containing a variety of functional groups have been recorded in CDCl~3~ and DMSOโ€__d__~6~ (henceforth DMSO) solvents. The ^1^H solvent shift ฮ”ฮด = ฮด(DMSO) โˆ’ ฮด(CDCl~3~) varies from โˆ’0.3 to +4.6 ppm. This solvent shift can be accurately predicted (

## Abstract The ^1^H NMR 270โ€MHz spectra of substituted 2โ€phenylthiazolidines were recorded and the substituentโ€induced chemical shifts (SCS) of the benzylic proton plotted against ฯƒ, the correlation coefficient being 0.801 and โˆ’ฯ = 10.29 Hz. Halogens show deviations in the SCS plots. When the halo
