β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
7βDeoxyloganic acid (1), citrusin C (2), 3,4βdihydroxyl benzoic acid (3) and (E)βcaffeic acid (4) were isolated from the waterβsoluble fraction of ethanol extracts of Morina nepalensis var. alba Hand.βMazz. and their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic evidence. The total assignments of ^1^H and ^13^C NMR spectra of 1 in solvents CD~3~OD, D~2~O and CDCl~3~ were reported, in addition to the singleβcrystal Xβray diffraction analysis of its tetraacetate 1a. All compounds were obtained from Morina genus for the first time. Copyright Β© 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

The crystal structure of PdTeI was determined by singlecrystal X-ray diffraction measurements, and its electronic band structure was calculated using the extended-Hu] ckel tight-binding method. Each Pd 3Ψ (d 7 ) cation of PdTeI is located at a distorted octahedral site, so that PdTeI has four half-f
