The transverse '*N relaxation times for dilute acetonitrile in water-I-propanol mixtures were measured as a function of solvent CornposItion. The rotational correlation times were evaluated. Since the results cannot bc cxplaincd by the hydrodynamic theory alone, apphcation of dlelectrlc friction theory is proposed
