The SmartForecasts technology helps companies in the automotive aftermarket produce accurate forecasts of slow-moving, infrequently demanded items. This permits companies to optimize their inventory mix to ensure both product availability and quick delivery.
Chicago Rawhide will use the software to improve inventory requirement estimates for high-volume and slow-moving products among the 25 000 shaft seal variants it produces for vehicle service and manufacturing and processing equipment.
