Es wird die Synthese von 4 neuen 4,5-Bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-cycloalkylthio-imidazolen (cyclopropyl-cyclohexyl) beschrieben. Ihre antiinflammatorische Wirksamkeit und Magenvertraglichkeit wurde tierexperimentell untersucht . Von den dargestellten Verbindungen zeigte das Cyclopropylderivat 7 die starkste entziindungshemmende Aktivitat. Nonsteroidal Antiintlammatory Agents, XVI: 4,5-Bis-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(cycloalkylthio)imidazoles with Antiinnammatory Activity Synthesis and antiinflammatory activities of four new 4,5-bis-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(cycloalkylthio)imidazoles (cyclopropy1,-buty1,-pentyl and -hexyl) are described. The cyclopropyl derivative 7 was the most active compound in this series. Klassische nichtsteroidale Entziindungshemmer sind chemisch durch acide Gruppen, wie
