Diammonium nickel(II) dihydrogendiphosphate(V) dihydrate is a member of the isotypic series (NH 4 ) 2 T(H 2 P 2 O 7 ) 2 Γ2H 2 O (T = Mn, Co or Zn). Isolated almost-regular NiO 6 octahedra form a layered structure. The Raman spectrum shows bands characteristic of H 2 P 2 O 7 groups.
