AarhusKarlshamn to enter joint venture with Enzymotec
AarhusKarlshamn (AAK), Sweden, has finalized its negotiation of a 50:50 joint venture with Enzymotec; an Israeli development company of biofunctional and nutraceutical ingredients which focusses on advanced lipids.
The resulting new company "Advanced Lipids" is said to extend AAK's business in the infant food business sector on a global basis. It is based on Enzymotec's research and AAK's international strength within development, production and marketing of speciality fats, say the companies. The corporation is to generate profit from 2008.
