Cargill announces new multivitamin with cholesterollowering CoroWise

Cargill's cholesterol-lowering , Coro-Wise' plant sterols are now available in the new , Centrum Cardio' complete multivitamin. According to Cargill, adults who take two Centrum Cardio tablets daily and follow a healthy diet of foods low in saturated fat and cholesterol may see their cholesterol levels start to drop in as little as four weeks.

Dietary plant sterols are found in fruits, vegetables, breads and other whole grain products, and most vegetable oils. However, it is difficult to consume enough plant sterols from these sources to lower blood cholesterol.
