✦ Synopsis

The first phosphorus-containing crown ethers with regularly alternating arylene and phosphorus acid residues have been obtained. Structural peculiarities and some chemical properties of these compounds have been studied. Rhodium complexes of new phosphorus-containing macrocycles have been prepared.
