All pulse lengths correspond to the half-power point, as measured by the standard synchroscope set-up at 70 per cent voltage level under resistance load. This point corresponds to that at which most radar equipment operates. Also of interest to lab technicians, the rise time remains the same approximately 0.1 microsecond from the 10 to the 80 per cent level of the curve. Designated Model H-850, this network is designed for operation with a 50 ohm impedance load. Peak voltage rating is 13 Kilovolts regardless of the pulse length used, which makes the unit useful for normal low power ranges in radar equipment employing hydrogen thyratron tubes.
