MIBK from acetone in one step

Jilin Petrochemical Co has developed a new catalyst for use in a one-step process for synthesizing MIBK from acetone. The process has been approved by Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Department and can be used to produce 10,000 tonne/y MIBK.
