Abstract

A new three‐dimensional wire‐junction node for modeling a junction with six wires of the same radius in a coarse mesh has been developed using the transmission‐line matrix (TLM) method. The scattering matrix of the proposed node is provided, together with numerical results which are validated by comparison with another technique. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
