✦ Synopsis
Abstract
New three‐dimension orthogonal basis functions for finite element solution of the vectorial wave equation are presented. These functions, based on the Whitney's edge elements, maintain the same properties as those of conventional basis functions, naturally generating diagonal matrices and enhancing numerical performance. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
