Abstract

The roots of two provenances of Anthemis cretica ssp. cretica afforded in addition to two known derivatives five new isofraxidin‐derived sesquiterpene ethers 3–7. All new compounds are characterized by bicyclic keto‐sesquiterpene moieties. The structures were elucidated mainly by ^1^H NMR spectroscopy and the absolute configurations were determined by circular dichroism.
