The hypothesis that exposure to a certain combination of static and alternating electromagnetic fields (EMFs) results in an increase in motility of the marine diatom Amphora coffeaeformis was tested. Diatom motility in three strains of A. coffeaeformis was positively correlated with extracellular ca
