โฆ Synopsis
The cryostat described here operates with a closed loop gas circulation and w i t h o u t a h e a t exchanger. Liquid air or helium is used as refrigerant. With this cryostat, the temperature of the object under study can be maintained within a range of 1 OC. A reinvestigation of the microwave spectrum of tricarbonyl(cyclobutadiene) iron has revealed a new fine structure. This is not in agreement with previously published results. In this paper a first attempt of the appropriate description of the molecules internal dynamics is made.
