A highly versatile time-of-flight spectrometer is to be installed at NIST. Seven disk choppers and a channeled guide will produce clean beams of optimum intensity, with a choice of three energy resolution widths at a given wavelength. The approximate wavelength range will be 0.2-1.2 nm (2-12 A).
