Abstract

In this short communication we present new upper and lower performance bounds of LQ (linearβ€”quadratic) systems with time‐varying parametric uncertainties. These new performance bounds improve on those proposed by Wang and Kuo by giving more accurate measures of performance robustness. We use the same example as that used by Wang and Kuo to show that the improvements are substantial.

It is shown how derivative bounds on uncertain time-varying parameters can be exploited in robustness analysis of linear systems. A new stability criterion is derived, based on integral quadratic constraints (IQCs) in the frequency domain. The new stability criterion interpolates between well-known

This paper deals with the finite-time chaos synchronization of the unified chaotic system with uncertain parameters. Based on the finite-time stability theory, a control law is proposed to realize finite-time chaos synchronization for the unified chaotic system with uncertain parameters. The control
