Primary open angle glaucoma remains the leading cause of blindness world wide. The most recently avatlahle pharmaceutical agents for control of intraocular pressure are the alpha-2 agonist, a topical carbonic anhydraie inhibitor anti a prostaglandin. A brief overview, contrasting these three different classes of agents. including potwtiai side effects is presented.
