Belfab bought by semiconductor manufacturer Tara Technologies has purchased the semiconductor business of PerkinElmer Fluid Sciences in Daytona Beach, Florida and San Carlos, California in the US. The Belfab welded metal bellows business was included in this sale.
New communications director appointed
Cooper-Standard Automotive has appointed Jared Finney as director of corporate communications and marketing. Finney is responsible for leading the global communications and marketing services activities for the corporation. He most recently held the position of director of marketing & technology planning for ITT Industries' automotive Fluid Handling Systems, which was acquired by Cooper-Standard Automotive in February 2006.
Parker purchases hose and fittings company
Parker Hannifin Corporation has acquired Resistoflex Aerospace from the Crane Company. The business produces fluid connectivity and conveyance products for the aerospace industry. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Resistoflex Aerospace invented PTFE extruded hose and also produces tubes and swaged fittings, including hydraulic beam seal fittings for aircraft and engine applications, as well as Nutlok, a separable fluid connector requiring no lockwire. Resistoflex will be integrated into the Parker Aerospace Stratoflex Products Division, which has headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.
