New Jersey Resources is an energy services holding company providing retail and wholesale energy services to customers in New Jersey, in states from the Gulf Coast to New England, and Canada. As of Sep 30 2007, Co. conducted its businesses through three operating segments. The Natural Gas Distribution segment consists of regulated energy and off‐system, capacity and storage management operations. The Energy Services segment consists of unregulated wholesale energy operations. The Retail and Other segment consists of appliance repair, sales and installation services, natural gas and related investments, commercial real estate development and other corporate activities.
