The Planetary Camera of the WFPC2 on board the Hubble Space Telescope was used in late 1994 to record 56 images of demonstrated that the photometric lightcurve of Vesta is Asteroid 4 Vesta in four compositionally diagnostic wavelength not due to shape and shadowing, as is the case for almost bands.

Discovering New V-Type Asteroids in the

We present results on the identification of two new V-type asteroids, 809 Lundia and 956 Elisa. These asteroids are located in the neighborhood of Asteroid 4 Vesta, but they do not belong to Vesta's dynamical family. Their spectra in the visible wavelength are consistent with the spectra of the Vest
