DuPont has developed a patented splicing method for the production of Kalrez QS spliced O-rings. They provide quick sealing solutions with all the long-term characteristics of the company's established perfluoroelastomer parts.
Manufactured using the new technology, the spliced O-rings conform to most specifications and customer requirements but need less lead-time than those produced conventionally. They are targeted for shipment within five working days.
Kalrez QS offers excellent chemical resistance and thermal performance up to 260 ยฐC and the splicing O-rings are available in a broad range of sizes to meet industry standards and customer-specific dimensions. They can be made in cross sections from 1.78 mm to 12.7 mm with any inside diameter over 152.4mm.
