Q uantum gasket material from

Klinger is claimed to be the first fibre gasket sheet that is bound entirely with HNBR elastomer.

The use of HNBR as a binder together with a new production process developed for this material has resulted in a sheet material that is also said to have much improved flexibility at high temperatures compared with conventional fibre reinforced non-asbestos gasket. The flexibility at 200ºC is a factor of eight higher than standard fibre materials.

It is suitable for use in oils, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and refrigerants.
