β¦ Synopsis
Two new furanoid diterpener, malabarolide Br (1) and menispermacide, have been isolated from the stems of Tinoeponr makabarica. Their structures were established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of menispermacide (2) was revised on the basis of single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Menispermacide provider the only known example of the occurrence of disulfide bearing diterpene from higher plants.

## Abstract Two new clerodaneβbased furanoid diterpenoids, tinosagittones A and B (**1** and **2**, resp.), were isolated from the roots of __Tinospora sagittata__, together with five known diterpenoids, __i.e.__, columbin (**3**), its glucoside palmatoside C (**4**), isocolumbin (**5**), 6βhydroxy
The structures and absolute stereochemistry of the diterpenoid Lactones (I-III) of Trichothecium resewn have recently been confinnedl. During these studies 8 mi.nor+lc acidic constituent of the fermentation was isolated. The structure and stereochemistry of this new metabolite, isorosenolic acid, m.
