Novel Applications of Sulfur and Selenium Monochlorides in the Synthesis of Azoles. -The use of sulfur-and selenium monochlorides in reaction with 5-nitroso-6-aminouracil (I) or 6-amino-1,4-diazepinium perchlorate (IV) leads to new azoles of type (II), (III), (V), or (VI), respectively.
