This new collection by poet, essayist, and professor Kathryn Waddell Takara reflects her travels as a performance poet in Africa, Europe, Central America, Tahiti and China. Born and raised in Tuskegee, Alabama, Takara is currently Assistant Professor at the University of Hawai'i at Monoa in the Ethnic Studies Department.
