Gasketing material cures quickly
T hreeBond has released TB1133E which is described as a nextgeneration anaerobic gasket, providing improved vibration tolerance.
This new material is a solventless, one-component, anaerobic type liquid gasketing material intended for applications such as gearboxes and cam covers, as well as sealing complex areas such as automatic transmissions and transfer cases. The cured gasket has good chemical resistance and flexibility comparable to that of silicone based gaskets with good adhesion to substrates. It has been formulated to be user friendly and is classified as a low-irritant anaerobic gasket. A two-stage air removal centrifuge process has been incorporated into the production cycle to ensure optimum dispensing and curing.
