Never Came Home
When DI Max Byrd and DI Orion Tanzy attend a crime scene where a body of a teenager has been found, with the help of forensics, they begin to suspect it could be gang related. When they take the body for a post-mortem they uncover something else. Something strange. Something they don’t understand. Across town, nine year old Damien Spencer is asked to get into a car. When Damien tries to escape, there's an unfortunate murder in the process, leaving the detectives to uncover another bloody crime scene. When they learn more than one child is missing it dawns on the detectives that others never came home and something more sinister is happening in Darlington. It's only a matter of time before there's another call that comes in. And it isn't long before there's another body found.
