We summarize our recent inelastic neutron scattering results on NaV 2 O 5 . They provided the first experimental evidences for deviations from a simple One-dimensional (1D) spin-Peierls scenario in explaining the formation of the low-temperature singlet ground state in this compound. These neutron s
