β¦ Synopsis
Layered transition metal oxides AMO 2 (A: alkaline, M: transition metal) may show novel electronic properties: the cobaltate Na x -CoO 2 AE yH 2 O for example is a possible spin-triplet superconductor. Here, we report on the fabrication of isostructural polycrystalline Na x RhO 2 (with x = 0.66 and x = 1.0) and its magnetic and structural properties measured by neutron powder diffraction and SQUID-magnetometry.
