β¦ Synopsis
A ncutron quasi-lastic investigation of the plastic phase of a randomly orientated sample of (n)-nonadecane shows good agreement with a simple continuous rotational diffusion model of the molecule about its long axis. No quasi-clastic broadening is observed in the lower temperature phase.
