β¦ Synopsis
Refinement of the crystal structure of BaSn2Fe4Ol ~ was made using neutron-diffraction data collected at 10 K and 240 K, as well as the Shiojiri model of the crystal structure. New structural parameters were found for both temperatures. The neutron diffraction pattern at 10 K shows a new magnetic ordering of Fe 3" ions.

A polycrystalline sample of a-FeC20 a . 2D20 has been investigated by neutron diffraction in the temperature range 4.2-300 K. The crystalline structure is monoclinic C2/c with the unit cell constants a = 11.98/~, b = 5.55/~, c = 9.91/~ and /3 = 128.47 Β° obtained from data at 300 K. The geometry of t
Fe4(P2O7)3 was prepared from Fe(PO3)3 and FePO4 at 9403C under oxygen. The unit cell is monoclinic, space group P21"n, with a β«Ψβ¬ 7.389(2) A > , b β«Ψβ¬ 21.337(1) A > , c β«Ψβ¬ 9.517(2) A > , β«Ψβ¬ 90(1)3, and Z β«Ψβ¬ 4.
