โฆ Synopsis
The CHORUS experiment has been designed to detect decays of r leptons coming from v~ ---* v~ neutrino oscillation using nuclear emulsion as primary neutrino target. The ability for detecting decays of short-lived particles can be used to search for charm particles produced via deep inelastic and diffractive neutrino interactions. Detection techniques and first observations of charm particle decays will be reported.
