✦ Synopsis

Neural networks may be simply described as a collection of very simple computing processors arranged in a manner that vaguely resembles interconnected biological neurons. This concoction has been demonstrated to have simplified brain-like behavior as well as the ability to solve tough problems in pattern recognition. This field of science/engineering is often called neurocomputing.
