SunL,rzary: The adsorption a,nalysis, D process-technology-oriented analytical met.hod, chiiracterizes c,omplex organic multicoinponent mixtures with respect to t'heir different adsorbability by ii sorbent such as activated carbon. The analytical method is based on the det,erminnt,ion of adsorption isotherms and t,heir mathematical interpretat,ion. So far, t,his interpretation has required the use of a large computer or a time-consuming computing program, in general. Wit,h the BASIC computing program "NAVIAS lo", on the basis of the IAS theory a matheniaticd approach has been found which provides sufficient accuracy, demands low expenditure of t'ime and nmkes the nse of ii small computer possible.
