Die theoretischen Grundlagen der schonenden Destillation werden behandelt und daraus die fur die Entwicklung van Apparaten fur dieses Gebiet wichtigen Konstruktionsgrundsatze abgeleitet. Auf die bei der Suchc nach einer optimalen Apparatekonstruktion auftretenden Schwierigkeiten wird eingegangen und die Notwendigkeit eines Baukastensystems herausgestellt. The fundamental principles of careful distillation are dealt with and from these the basic results of constructional importance are derived. The difficulties involved in the optimum construction of an apparatus are mentioned, and the necessity of a package system pointed out.
