New Constituents of Levisticum officinale Koch
Falcarindiol (1) was identified as the antibiotic principle in roots of Levisticum officinale (Umbelliferae). In addition (Z)‐ligustilide (2), angeolide (3), and five new dimers of ligustilide were isolated. Structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
