## Abstract The synthesis of polyethylene glycols [α‐Hydro‐ω‐hydroxypoly(oxy‐1, 2‐ethanediyl)‐d~x~], deuterated in the chain, up to the lenght of the chain of 20 carbons was achieved by reaction of ethylene glycol‐d, with iodine as catalysts.
