This paper presents novel via-only bandpass filters for a wide range of microwave/millimeter-wave frequencies. The design is based on rigorous field-theory analysis of a dielectric-loaded inductive-iris waveguide section combined with an impedance-inverter-based filter synthesis to realize maximally
