โœฆ Synopsis

Machining mechanical parts requires a great deal of area cleaning, i.e. cutting away all material within given boundaries. This paper describes a fast algorithm, implemented in the SAA B.A dapt processor, to compute the necessary cutter paths for machining arbitrarily shaped areas (pochets) bounded by straight lines and arcs.
