Needle-shaped crystals of Nb 7 W 10 O 47 , a member of the solid solution series Nb 8Ψn W 9Ψn O 47 with n β«Ψβ¬ 1, were prepared from the binary oxides with HgCl 2 added as a mineralizer. All investigated crystals were twinned. The data set was measured on a fourling, which consists of 73% of an indiv
## Abstract The title compound is prepared by freezing aqueous solutions of V~2~O~5~ and Nb~2~O~5~ in oxalic acid with liquid nitrogen, followed by drying the frozen mixture and heating to 350 Β°C (30 min), and by reaction of V~2~O~5~ with Nb~2~O~5~ at 650 Β°C.
Crystals of Pb 0.91 K 1.72 Li 1.46 Nb 5 O 15 , belonging to tetragonal tungsten bronze materials, were grown by the slow cooling technique, and characterized by means of single crystal X-ray diffraction: the structure was solved in the P4bm tetragonal space group, with the following unit cell parame
