Gaspi and his friends are reeling after the tragic events of the Measure. They are out-manned by Sestin and his army of demons, and time is fearfully short. In desperation, Hephistole and Voltan devise a plan to sneak deep beyond the boundaries of the Ogre Nation and retrieve fragments of the altar in the ancient Temple of El-Amyari - fragments infused with unknown power that will give them a chance against their enemy.
