Reactive transport models were developed to explore the evolution in groundwater chemistry along the fl ow path in three aquifers; the Triassic East Midlands aquifer (UK), the Miocene aquifer at ValrΓ©as (France) and the Cretaceous aquifer near Aveiro (Portugal).
