The equations of mofion governing the Iree vibrations of the compound centrifugal pendulum are stated, and the linearized so!ufion is given. A comparison is then made between the exact (numerical) solufion of the non-linear equations of motion and the linearized solution. This comparison is in the form of file ratio of the natural frequencies and is presented graphically and tabularly.
