✦ Synopsis

In this paper are presented the first known natural frequencies for trapezoidal plates with completely free boundaries. The Ritz method with aigebraic polynomials is used. Detailed convergence studies are made. Accurate results are obtained and listed for the lowest six frequencies, and for a reasonably comprehensive set of shapes.
