Ce secret ne l'était pas resté. Je m'étais fait cogner et surtout, j'avais perdu ma mère. Je ne l'avais pas revu. Je ne le cherchais pas. Son refus de me voir aurait été un nouveau rejet. J'avais ma vie avec Ian, avec mes amis et cela me suffisait. Je gardais en moi la douleur de l'avoir perdue, mais je vivais avec.
